Overview of 1981 Chaffee County John Doe
The victim's skeletal remains were located in a wooded area near Clear Creek Reservoir in an unincorporated area of northern Chaffee County. In 1986, more bones were found in the same general area. They were compared to the ones found in 1981 and ruled to probably be the same person in each finding by the original pathologist. There were three cartridge shell casings found near the second set of bones.
