The victim was found on July 11 or 12 in 1997. The victim was found deceased in the sleeper cab of an abandoned semi-truck on 2201 Airway Avenue in an industrial area of northern Fort Collins. There is no evidence of foul play or trauma, nor evidence of natural disease process at autopsy. The victim was in a state of partial undress and bondage which suggests some sort of sexual game was going on when he died. He was believed to be living a recent transient lifestyle. It is theorized that his death may have been due to a cardiac electromechanical event, perhaps as the result of using some illicit inhalant, such as amyl nitrate.
