The victim's remains were discovered on a derelict cabin cruiser floating off Sigsby Bay, 150 yards north of Rat Key near Key West. An anonymous tip came from a man who said he was her boyfriend and claimed she was suicidal. He said that she called herself "Cinnamon" and that she never told people her real name. Cinnamon died of a possible alcohol and amphetamine overdose. She left behind a poem about life and death, and information that the boat's owner would soon be back from Alaska.
