Carol Roberts vanished on August 15, 1976, after leaving her home located in the vicinity of the 90 block of Masters Cove. Carol was accompanied by an unidentified white male. They were driving in Carol's yellow 1974 or 1977 Chevrolet Corvette.
Days later, the man she was traveling with was given a traffic citation in Blythe, California. It remains unknown if Carol was with the unidentified man at the time. The unidentified man told police that they had an argument and Carol left her car in Red Rock, Arizona or Red Bluff, Arizona. Carol was reported missing by her mother.
