Cortdarryl Armstrong was only 29 years old when someone took his life.

At about 6:30 am on Wednesday, 07/27/2016, a light rain came down on the authorities as they investigated another murder in the capital city. It was also warm that morning, with a temperature of 79 degrees when they were processing the crime scene. Cortdarryl was found shot to death lying in the roadway in the 3900 block of Iroquois Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities do not have a motive or a suspect, but they hope someone will come forward. This case is still open.
