Glen Allen Fayard vanished from Mississippi in October of 2006.

Glen was last seen when he was dropped off by a Bay St. Louis police officer near a trailer located on Washington Street north of U.S. 90 on October 14, 2006. He has not been seen or heard from since. According to The Charley Project, Glen usually walked wherever he needed to go, but he frequently received rides from local police, who would also occasionally stop by his home to check on him. Glen was living with his mother at the time.

Glen’s family became concerned after the Thanksgiving holiday when no one was able to get in contact with him. Following his disappearance, Glen’s family conducted a search of the area surrounding his home. According to his sister, Amy Haygood, a set of keys were found, leading them to believe that Glen was there at some point in time. Other searches of the wooded areas near Glen’s home led by authorities have proved unsuccessful.

“It’s not like him, especially after the Thanksgiving holiday, not to call. And after the holiday weekend, since we didn’t hear from him, I know something is wrong.” - Amy Haygood, Glen’s sister.

Today, Glen has remained missing for more than 16 years without any clues leading investigators closer to his whereabouts or to what may have happened to him that fateful October day in 2006. At the time of his disappearance in 2006, Glen was described as a 53 year old caucasian man with curly brown hair and brown eyes. He was between 5’9”-5’10” tall and weighed approximately 150-180 lbs. Glen has been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. His family believed he was off of his medication at the time of his disappearance. Today, Glen would be 69 years old.
