Overview of Jamie Tate
Jamie Jo Tate is a beloved daughter, sister, and aunt, whose family misses her greatly.
Unfortunately, not much else is publicly known about who Jamie was as a person or what she enjoyed. We do know, however, that she is incredibly loved and missed by friends and family members who are pushing for answers and for their loved one to come home.
Jamie is last seen at her ex-boyfriend’s home.
On the afternoon of July 31, 2020, Jamie was nearly hit by a blue car during an attempted hit-and-run in the 3800 block of West Washington Street in Indianapolis, IN.
Later that evening, Jamie goes to her ex-boyfriend, Robert’s home, which is located on the 500 block of South Warman Avenue in Indianapolis, IN. While at his home, according to witnesses, Jamie and Robert get into an argument outside. The witnesses explain that when the argument progressed, Robert dragged Jamie into his home. This is the last time Jamie has been seen.
“With the witness observing her arguing with the individual and being drug [dragged] into a house and not being seen or heard from since is what makes her case suspicious.” - IMPD Detective James Burton.
Where the case stands today.
According to investigators, Jamie is believed to be in extreme danger. They also believe that foul play may be involved in her disappearance. They add in an interview with Fox59 in 2020 that they have several persons of interest that they are trying to interview.
Jamie is described as a caucasian female with brown hair and blue eyes who stands 5’6” tall and weighs approximately 140 lbs. Jamie has the following tattoos: a red ribbon with the name "Alma Tate Pullen'' along with the years "1937-2011" on her wrist, the words "Why Hope" in a 'V' shape on her upper chest, the words "Westside 50" behind her left ear, a large rose with the name "Bob" underneath on her lower leg, a cartoon devil on the top of her right foot, and a tribal design on her lower back. Jamie's hair was also dyed pink at the ends at the time of her disappearance.
“Just remember that you can stay anonymous, call our tip line, any information whether you think it means anything or not could help us greatly locate these missing people.” - IMPD Detective James Burton.
