Overview of Jessie Edwards Sr
Jessie Edwards, a resident of Holly Bluff, Mississippi, disappeared on November 4, 2007. Edwards was last seen by a family member in his home located in the 200 block of Bowie Quarter Road, who fell asleep at around 2:00 a.m. When the family member woke up four hours later, Edwards was no longer present.
During the investigation, two witnesses reported seeing Edwards walking on a road thirty miles away from Holly Bluff in the early morning hours. Unfortunately, Edwards has not been heard from since, and the circumstances of his disappearance remain unclear.
At the time of his disappearance, Edwards spent his nights at his daughter's house and stayed at a nursing home during the day. He had spent his entire life as a farmer and lost his wife just a year before he vanished. Edwards' daughter believes that her father may have been the victim of homicide.
The case is still open, and the Yazoo County Sheriff's Department can be contacted with any information at 662-746-5611. Multiple news sources, including WLBT 3, The Clarion-Ledger, and WJTV, have covered the story, and America's Most Wanted has also included Edwards' case.
