Joseph packed up his life and moved from Lancaster, CA to Dayton, MT in August of 1980. On February 15, 1981, Joseph packed up and left his Dayton, MT home, taking his car and his belongings with him. Joseph, his belongings and his car have not been seen since.

Joseph, his sister, and brother-in-law were in the process of selling a property in Lolo, MT at the time of his disappearance. The closing on this property was set to take place in March of 1981. His sister reported that they were in regular contact with Joseph until around the time of his disappearance.

At the time of his disappearance in 1981, Joseph was described as a 44 year old caucasian man with brown hair and brown eyes. He stood 5’8” tall and weighed approximately 145-150 lbs. Joseph has a crippled left finger and speaks with an accent.
