Overview of Katsina Roybal
Katsina Lynnea Roybal was only 21 years old when her life was taken from her in 2010.
Katsina was born and raised in east Denver, CO. She had a large extended family who adored her, including two younger sisters that she stepped up to raise. At the time of her death, Katsina was attending the Metropolitan State College of Denver with hopes of a bright future. She was known for her kind heart and sweet smile.

Katsina was shot on the front porch of her home in July of 2010.
Around 10:00 pm on the night of July 12, 2010, Katsina and an unnamed man were on the front porch of her Denver, CO home when two unidentified men approached. The two men fired several shots at Katsina and the man before fleeing the scene. Katsina was declared dead at the scene once authorities arrived and the man survived with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Katsina’s case has gone unsolved for more than 12 years. Her family and friends have been left for over a decade with more questions than answers in their loved one’s death.
