On February 23, 2008, Kerry Angell left work (Riser Ford) and never returned. Angell was driving a demo car for the dealership. A co-worker and Kerry Angell's landlord went to residence to check on him, but found no one. Residence was unlocked and the television was on.

On Wednesday, May 10, 2023, the Garland County Sheriff's Office announced that the remains found in a 2003 gray Ford Escape recovered from Lake Hamilton in March 2023 belong to Kerry Angell Jr., 48, who had reportedly been missing from the Hot Springs area since Feb. 23, 2008.
