Overview of Lonell Franklin
In January of 2010, Lonell and his friend were killed during a drive-by shooting.
On the night of January 11, 2010, Lonell Franklin and his friend, DeShon Lee, got into an altercation with an unidentified individual at a Denver, CO liquor store. After leaving the store, the men are stopped at a traffic light when a gray or silver SUV pulls next to them and starts shooting at their car. Lonell was declared dead at the scene but DeShon initially survived the shooting, but died on the way to a local hospital. A third passenger, a young woman, was in the car with them and was also shot, but survived the shooting. After the shooting, the SUV fled the scene.

Today, more than 12 years have passed since Lonell and DeShon lost their lives on January 11, 2010. The case remains unsolved and is considered to be a ‘cold case’ by authorities.
