The decedent's decomposing remains were found in the Phoenix Mountains Preserve in a dry wash near 40th Street and Mission Lane, south of Shea Boulevard. He had a paper in a nearby sack with the name "Jeffrey C. Sanders", but was determined not to be Mr. Sanders, although he may have been a friend or an acquaintance. Based on the length of jeans the decedent may have been around 5'9, assuming pants fit him properly. According to the Maricopa County ME's page he is believed to be Caucasian/White.
