Overview of Patsy Baker
Patsy Baker, a resident of Marked Tree, Arkansas, was last seen on June 3, 1999, at a dentist's office in Mountain View, Arkansas. The following month, she was reported missing. Prior to her disappearance, Baker had been arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI) in Marked Tree.
Baker had traveled to Mountain View with Danny Noel Taylor, with whom she had rented an apartment. Taylor claimed that Baker had left him for a truck driver named Tim, whom he did not know personally. However, Baker has not been seen or heard from since her disappearance, and her vehicle was found in Marked Tree in 2001.
In 2009, Taylor pleaded guilty to the murder of an elderly woman in September 1999. He was sentenced to ten years in prison for the crime. Although he has not been charged in connection with Baker's disappearance, he is considered a person of interest.
Tragically, Baker's adult son passed away in a motorcycle accident in October 2005. Despite this, she did not make contact with her family or attend his funeral, and may not even be aware of his passing.
Investigators have been unable to locate any records indicating that Baker has been incarcerated, hospitalized, or deceased since her disappearance in 1999. Very little is known about her life prior to her disappearance, and her case remains unsolved.
