Paul Gayle was a 40 year old father of two when he was tragically murdered in 2009.

Paul was a Jamaican immigrant who immigrated to Milwaukee, WI as a teenager. Shortly after, he met the mother of his future children, Bindu, who was an Indian immigrant. He had earned his certification to work as a nursing assistant, and worked at nursing homes along with working part-time as a nightclub DJ in his spare time. At the time of his death, he was also working at a plastics company. Paul was also a loving and devoted father to two children, a 13 year old son and a 16 year old daughter, who were the lights of his life.

Paul was senselessly murdered in July of 2009.

Paul called Bindu on July 12, 2009 and told her that he had to see her, without much further explanation. Sometime after, Paul was shot by an unidentified assailant near his apartment in the 4700 block of North 35th Street in Milwaukee, WI. He was found shortly after, and Bindu was given the news after making several attempts to call and find him.

Where the case stands today.

According to an article from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, very few leads have been received by local authorities, leading Paul’s case to ‘go cold’ very shortly after his murder, leading Paul’s name to seemingly blur with the rest of Milwaukee’s unsolved murders. But Paul’s children have to grow up without a father, his friends and family members are left heartbroken, and a hole is left in the community where Paul once stood.
