Overview of Robert Heissenberger
Robert Heissenberger vanished from the Lake Mead area in 2004.
Robert was last seen on April 8, 2004 by friends walking away from Lake Mead off of Northshore Drive near mile marker 8 in Las Vegas, NV. Extensive searches of the surrounding area in the following days do not lead authorities any closer to Robert’s whereabouts or what happened to him. The only item of Robert that was found was his pickup truck, a bronze 1999 Mazda B-2500, which was found parked in the same place where Robert had left it. Inside, his wallet, watch, and sneakers were found where Robert had left them. He has not been seen or heard from since.
Where the case stands today.
Though authorities extensively searched the Lake Mead area, nothing has ever been found to lead them closer to Robert or what may have happened to him. His case is considered a “cold case” by authorities who have run out of leads to investigate.
At the time of his disappearance in 2004, Robert was described as a 38-year-old caucasian man with light brown hair and brown eyes. He was about 5’11”-6’ tall and weighed approximately 145-155 lbs. He was last seen wearing Army fatigues with a white or light-colored t-shirt and black or brown combat boots. He was also wearing a silver shell chain necklace.
