Overview of Ruby McClain
Unfortunately, there are very few details available regarding Ruby McClain’s disappearance.
Ruby McClain was last seen on December 18, 1988 leaving Crafts Farrow Hospital in Columbia, SC, where she was a patient, on foot. She has not been seen or heard from since. Authorities believe Ruby may be in extreme danger, because she is diabetic and required constant access to water.

Today, Ruby has remained missing for nearly 34 years, with no new leads or updates being brought forward since the early days of her disappearance. Her case has officially been labeled a “cold case” and is not being actively investigated, unless new information is turned in to authorities.
At the time of her disappearance in 1988, Ruby was described as a 61 year old caucasian woman with white hair and blue eyes. She was between 5’2”-5’3” tall and weighed approximately 175-185 lbs. Ruby has scars on the left and right side of her back. She is diabetic and requires constant access to water.
