Shausha and Shaina were last seen with their mother when they left for vacation. The chidren's mother (Kimyala Henson) was found deceased on April 29, 2001 in Nevada. The prime suspects (Christina Mayer and Frank Oehring) were found in their car after a murder-suicide with a hatchet with Kimyala's blood on it in their car and a letter with details of their plans to steal Shausha and Shiana's birth certificate. Howerver, there were no clues to the children's whereabouts or the whereabouts of their birth certificates.
