Overview of Sheila Morton
Sheila Morton was a devoted mother of a 3-year-old boy who she shared with her ex-boyfriend.
She was caring, kind, and loving. Sheila's life wasn't perfect. In the weeks leading up to her disappearance, her behavior began to shift. She had been working at a restaurant for seven years, but quit her job. She began hanging out with an old group of friends, and her last known purchase was a 9mm handgun.
Sheila Morton was last seen on July 2, 2014. She was temporarily staying with her ex-boyfriend, who was living at Farm Road 843 and Chester Allen Road. Sheila left behind her purse, keys, car among other belongings. According to her ex-boyfriend, Sheila had been drinking heavily that day. She wanted to take their son with her, but he refused and brought the child inside. During this time, Sheila vanished. She was last seen wearing an orange t-shirt and capri pants.
She only took her phone and wallet, however, her phone has been turned off since her disappearance. Strangely, Sheila was not reported missing until two weeks later. Her ex-boyfriend is not considered a suspect and has cooperated with the investigation.
Sheila is described as a white female with brown hair and eyes. Her hair was dyed maroon. She is 4'11" and weighs between 125 - 140 pounds. She takes medication for unspecified reasons, and if she stops taking it, she may become irrational. Sheila has a scar under her chin and a tattoo of the initials "SAM" on her left arm. Her ears are pierced.
