Toby Bing and his friend El Shawndrae Jones were last seen in February 18, 1999, in Bluffton, South Carolina. Bing had received a call on his phone requesting that he drive to Bluffton. Both men were seen driving Bing's white 1994 Toyota pickup truck. They were never heard from again.

Toby's vehicle was found abandoned in Savannah, Georgia, 6 days later. Blood was found at the Bluffton residence of Sean Rico Sullivan, and DNA tests confirmed that it was Bing's. Sullivan was charged with murder, and other drug dealers were convicted of conspiracy in 2002.

Campbell and Sullivan were convicted of additional charges, including Bing's murder, in 2003 and were sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Bing and Jones's remains have never been located.
