Overview of Willie Boudreaux
Willie Parnell Boudreaux was born and raised in New Orleans on 06/16/1982. He was a father of 4 children, a son, and a brother, with many other family and friends who loved him.
It was a beautiful evening that Wednesday, 10/23/2013. Willie and 2 other passengers were driving a blue Buick near the intersections of Mardi Gras Boulevard and Copernicus Streets. Just before 7 pm, a silver late model vehicle pulled up next to them, and someone opened fire, spraying the Buick with over 2 dozen rounds. Full of bullet holes, the Buick eventually crashed into a nearby telephone pole, causing the airbags to deploy. Authorities responded to the scene and quickly rushed Willie to the hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. The other 2 passengers, a 30-year-old male, suffered several gunshot wounds and was listed in critical condition. The 14-year-old girl also suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and was listed in stable condition.
Investigators have not released any suspects or motives in the case yet. This case is still open.
